Why wouldn't it go anywhere? He's no better than RSJ, Speedy Noil, Kyler Murray, Kyle Allen, Daylon Mack, Christian Kirk, Brandon Williams, Keith Ford, Priest Willis, Trey Williams, Myles Garrett or Justin Madubuike.

The easy answer is 8 of the 12 you listed were from Texas, Speedy was right next door, Kyle/Kirk were in love with Spav, and we haven't had a lot of success recruiting against elite teams for elite OOS recruits the last couple of cycles.

I believe they check in on McFarland when they were recruiting the 2 top players in DC last year (Hall and Hansford). We landed Hansford and Hall committed to Bama.
Btw, Priest Willis is from AZ too and Jeff Banks was the area recruiter for Allen and Kirk.

I just want you to be more positive. Life is too short. We made his top 10! That is something isn't it. I remember when I used to pray that we would get 2-3 4 stars in a recruiting cycle. I'd wait to see his top 5 before odds.

Hmm, maybe that's why Santino has yet to announce. Think he's choosing us but coaches could be using his announcement to deflect negativity if Kellen chooses auburn.

No. I don't see any reason for any of us to melt this recruiting season. If you aren't expecting a mediocre class you don't have your head on straight, and if we do better than that the only fitting emotions are positive.
