So with Vines throwing now, I would guess he won't be pitching midweek. Unless they're moving him to the pen, I would guess he will be joining the rotation next weekend.

A few notes from the TA Baseball board. Ecker (and Banks) didn't even travel to Cali. Ecker had arm soreness after the first weekend.

And just to follow up on tmc's question about Larkins earlier, he has battled some arm injuries. I am a-okay with RC taking it slow with him. I want our guys ready for the post season. I can settle for not winning the SEC or hosting a super if that is the case.

I noticed when Ecker pitched last weekend that his fastball was only in the low 90's. That's a significant dip for him. Fingers crossed.
