I'm feeling much more confident now. The Vicksburg Post sports front page includes the article "Ole Miss gears up for Aggies". The article mostly talks about recent Ole Miss sweeps, and hints that another is forthcoming. Being featured on the front page of the VP sports section is way, way worse than the SI cover jinx. It's a lock, now. Thank you, thank you Vicksburg Post!

Umpire is sort of squeezing not giving the outside half of plate. I think it's going to lead to a lot of runs because the only way to get a strike called is in

Ole Miss 1 2 0
Ags 1 2 0
Bottom 2nd

Choruby scores from first on a single (hit and run) and Aggys take the lead!

Melton then bangs one off the wall and then a hit parade

Ole Miss 1 4 1
Texas Aggies 6 9 0
Top 7th

Great link! U2's Joshua Tree was my go-to riding rollers and trying to hit 50 mph with my legs about to fly off. "With or Without You" was perfect, with the slow buildup before Katy-bar-the-door.

No more bike-geek posts from me tonight, I promise.

Quiz for our resident baseball gurus. Ecker threw 26 pitches in game 1. Can he go again Friday or Saturday? If yes then RC is a genius or something, right?

frick that. This one was so turbulent my cup of water lept off the table and spilled on the window. At least I was flying home from Grand Rapids. That's worth any amount of turbulence

So you're saying that you'll sacrifice our chance to win the sec for your own personal comfort???

Idk about guru, but if needed I could see him going on Saturday. However I don't remember him throwing multiple games on a weekend this year. And it seems like his last several appearances has been multi inning outings. Last night was too, but it was fairly efficient.
