for a good laugh....up to date RPIs per WN

1. UF
2. Louisville
3. Miami
4. A&M
5. South Carolina
6. NCSU
7. Ole Miss
8. Mississippi State
9. Vanderbilt
10. Clemson.

Obviously the bold are all SEC but they are also all teams on our schedule. LSU comes in at a paltry 13

Not at all. It means our RPI will be in the top 8 by the regular season's end.

yeah, honestly it doesn't mean much to us. We're not competing against he rest of the world at this point. We're just competing for an SEC spot.

The committee will fix the number of spots the SEC can have at most likely 4. With 6 SEC schools in the top 9 right now, at least 2 are getting bumped.

The only thing we need to root for outside the SEC is making sure a team doesn't run the table to finish and steal a national seed that way. Looking at the teams in the top 20 though, I don't see anyone that has a schedule set up to move up the RPI and be any kind of threat even if they win out

I like that we slid Larkins into the Saturday role. I think that suits him. Hopefully he can throw a few more innings this week.

At this point, I think one of these two has to host. I thought they'd hand it to Creighton as Big East winner but they've now got 2 bad losses in a row. I still think that could happen if Creighton can win out or something

But an I35 corridor regional almost has to happen. Nebraska is probably in at this point which means Big 12/Creighton/Nebraska in one regional.

the whole playing Thu-Sat and then not playing til Fri is a bit of a beat. And the Simonds no-no really amplifies it
