Liucci is pulling his classic "let 'em down easy" schtick. He's putting out progressively more negative updates until one morning you wake up and everyone has committed to Texas.

I think sex, drugs, and money are more responsible than media.......

I haven't seen that at all. He's been cautious for months now saying a top 25-30 class is a more likely scenario than a top 15-20

we're still small potatoes compared to that program

Hah I wouldn't go that far regardless of the outcome of recruits this class.

Reading between the lines, his newest update is really bad. And he's actually sugar coating it based on what I've heard through the grapevine.

Right now, it's very likely Texas lands around 12 four/five stars over the course of the next two weeks and wins every current head to head battle.

Their bagmen are taking it to new levels JUST so the NEXT coach starts off with good talent. Ours pouted and cut off a current coach with MORE job security than Strong has.

Their media spin machine is collaborating to put out a shining narrative. Guys like Ketch and Higdon and Burton and AAS writers are having personal meetings to set this stuff up. Meanwhile, an ACTUAL ALUMNI of A&M put out a hit piece on the program not two months ago. One of our two big fans sites (247) has been cited by recruits as being so negative it scared them away.

Small. Potatoes.

We have a good chance of keeping Jackson a lesser shot at keeping Smith, but they are on track to land all the uncommitted guys.

Jones
McCullough
Cuffee
Daniels
Hudson
And others we aren't in a battle for

Us being on a downswing as far as program momentum isn't "small potatoes". It's the reality of where the programs are at momentum wise. They feel like they've hit bottom and will only go up from here, likely with a new coach. Our alums and fan base see where we could be headed.

You call us small potatoes but our fan base and alums will never be so tolerant of a 5-7 season like they are. It still amazes me he kept his job, it confirmed to me that UT fans as a whole simply aren't fanatical about football

Again, not reality. Jackson is probably the most likely to land at sip right now.
