Kind of off-topic for the moment but we apparently offered Terry Beckner Jr. 5-star SDE from Illinois. Kinda late in the game, imo, but why the hell not, right? Likes Missouri, LSU, Michigan, USC so his interests are all over the map.

I agree, why not offer these top out of state guys?
Outside of Capers, McGinnis and Christian Kirk, I'm not sure if we have a strong chance with any of them at this point. I really thought Tyron Johnson, TD Moton and Xavier Lewis would give us more of a look

so let me get this straight, we just received an early commitment from an out of state kid who had offers from major SEC and Big 12 programs without even taking a single visit? yea our staff is pretty good at this recruiting thing

He said he talked to coach joseph for two hours and that he can't wait to visit college station this summer. And said no more cisits, but we'll see lol

There is a thread on the sips 247 board about malik. In it, Blake just said that a&m leads for malik and Texas is on the outside looking in and they all just can't figure out why a 5* LB would ever want to play for a gadget coach who can't coach defense, has no control over their program, and who are going to be 6-6 at best next year over coach fricking strong

me too. I was very happy to see he officially measured 6'1". Obviously you'd love it if he was 6'3" or 6'4" but 6'1" isn't too bad.

ill post the updates from the elite 11 camp about murray. also lodge wanted to watch the camp so hes there....wearing an a&m shirt. that does not suck at all
