Btw, I wonder how tall DCS really is. 247 has him listed at 5'10", Rivals at 6'1" and his HUDL profile shows 6'3"
I know much of recruiting is guesswork, but damn, let's get the little things right.

Houston Lamar DB Hilton Hill tells me that his top three after this weekend are A&M, Texas and Baylor in no order.

I'd say he's on the clock along with Xavier Lewis. My guess is we told them we only definitely have room for 3. One went today. We'll save a spot for Sheffield until he commits. If one commits, the other might not have a spot.
If neither does and Kris Boyd does his part, it can be his (though like I said you could slide him to the 3rd safety spot as well). It's Feb a year to signing day and honestly there is pressure on these guys.

don't really think that's what he meant. Here's the full quote
LINK
quote:
“I’m going to respectfully say that A&M has never seen an athlete like DeShawn Capers-Smith. He’s a freak of an athlete. He was a unanimous all-district selection at four different positions--two on offense and two on defense. That’s coming out of a district that had 45 division one college signees in one year. His film doesn’t do the justice of what type of athlete he really is. He’s an all-district baseball player, all metro track runner and all-state football player. He’s just an all-around tremendous athlete. He mainly played receiver and cornerback for us but we moved him to quarterback in the playoffs. In three games he accounted for 19 touchdowns and over 1,700 yards in three games.”

I may or may not have dropped a heavily bated line over on the recruiting board
