that's not my understanding. I think he's a DT long term. Family is friends with the Chavis's.

Not sure how that rule change flew under the radar like that but it is an interesting change. Machen sounds like an idiot at the end of that article.

"I know they send a lot of people to the league on offense but Coach Chavis coming in is big. He's one of the best defensive coordinators in history so I know he's going to get their defense right."
He added, "I'm pretty strong on Tennessee but I'll still listen to a few coaches like Coach Chavis and Coach (Will) Muschamp at Auburn. I might go visit Auburn later in the month too."
