Of course he does...he's their backup plan in case they can't land their #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, or #15 choices.

I know it's fun to make fun of him because he runs his mouth, but he's not a bad prospect. He's a bit like the Taylors. If he can put on good weight, he should be a pretty solid contributor.
I really wouldn't be upset given the dearth of talent in-state at DE this year if he was our take. He may not develop but it's not like Myles Garrett, Solomon Thomas, Jerrett Johnson and the like are out there to choose from. It's basically Lockhart. The 2nd highest rated DE in the state is at #49 on the composite (Breylin Mitchell) and he only has 2 offers so something is suspicious there (likely grades)

Not disputing what you said at all, but every one of those programs mentioned with other offers are recruiting more talented DEs in other states besides Texas.
