I was referring to texas. They have offered the kid, but would be so happy if he went to Oregon. They'd be verry happy about losing a kid

I'm not a VIP member on 24/7 but it's not exactly "classified" from the boards to learn that James Lockhart is butthurt that we didn't offer sooner.

Btw tu commit DE Charles omenihu keeps tweeting he's announcing his commitment tomorrow after HS spring game. He's committed to texas but he keeps tweeting about it like something's gonna change. Have we offered? I know we're not really high on texas DE's this year.

I believe he was told if he wants an offer he needs to visit. We'd want to measure him, get multiple eyeballs on him, etc. This is a pretty standard thing for guys that don't have the obvious profile or are very close to offers. You don't want to make a mistake on it.
I don't really think him talking is a big deal. People are just too sensitive. Most talkers do so because they are trying to compensate for something. In this instance, it's probably an A&M offer. I noticed when he was tweeting about his list of offers multiple people (HS friends?) asked him about A&M offer. Probably sticks in his craw that we haven't offered which is where the angst comes from.
Anyway, I think he's going to announce he won't be taking any visits and if so we'll never bother with him.
