yeah they are. And after watching both their highlight reels, I'm almost sure these are JACK offers (it's the SAM position in the 33stack). Essentially it's a stand-up DE.
I know they've said Baggs was going to fill in there this year (Askew did last) and that says to me we're unhappy with everyone we have on campus (because, really, Donnie Baggs?). This might just be we are looking for a specific tweener type for those situations.
Four still seems like too many, especially nowt that the vibe on Mitchell has suddenly turned positive.

looks like we're going to have a slew of commits leading into the summer camps. I don't have any insight but it seems like they are setting up a run right now. I'd guess DE Lockhart, LB Garner, LB Moore and CB Boyd will all commit prior to the biggest domino, QB Murray on the 28th. I have an inkling on someone else but I'm not sure if he's ready.
Camp on June 8th. Several targets coming to that and I'd be a little surprised if we don't start pressing then. Spots are going to get tight. I think we will likely be at about 16 or so by mid-June.

I think we're getting a little spoiled. This point of the year there are always under the radar guys still for a variety of reasons. Mike Mitchell didn't blow up til the summer and ended up a 5*. Kyrion Parker had zero offers at this point 2 years ago. Or Zach Ledwick last year. Same with Frank Iheanacho (though to be fair, he wasn't playing football). Lot of these guys were last seen in the fall and many are still growing so guys just emerge.
The coaches have been on the road doing evals for weeks. They seem to have held all the offers til this week to create that sort of buzz (Lockhart for instance was told 2 weeks ago an offer was coming this week). Boyd's was decided on Sunday but went out Wednesday. It seems clear we're attempting to build momentum into the summer when prospects have more time to visit.

Lockhart and Boyd are great prospects but neither will turn people's heads if they commit to us. And I mean that as a good thing because as tmc said we are getting spoiled. We expect to fill our class with those types of guys. I haven't really seen Garner but I would be happy if Moore commits as well.

I love Moore. He's undersized but he's Claiborne 2.0 imo. He's the kind of guy you plug in and he just keeps making plays. Very instinctual and lord knows our defense needs some more of that.

heard some pretty positive info on Soso Jamabo today so I figured I'd go to Landthieves to see what they were saying. Those guys are pretty seriously beat down about now
