I keep reading Auburn popping up but you never know what is going on until signing day.

there is a thread on RP right now, 4 pages long, that is totally dedicated to how they are so lucky to get stidham instead of murray. I mean you cant make this shite up

Stidham is going to be really special. Will he have a better college career than Murray? Maybe not. But I certainly wouldn't be crying if he was our QB in this class. Tech is lucky. He's the most talented QB they've ever recruited.

Honestly I've read numerous comparisons of Allen to Harris or Heard or Speedy to Dupre or Quinn or vice versa. They're all excellent players. Fans naturally tend to think higher of the guy that picked their school.

Wasn't Hamm the one who broke the Evans news? I know he talks with Joseph a lot

oh I 100% agree with you. I was just commenting on how long the thread was just dedicated to commenting on how lucky they were to get stidham instead of murray when they are both tremendous

Boyd was told he needs to show maturity on and off the field. He needs to practice hard. He needs to study. He needs to show that he wants to be an elite player. If he does, he will receive an offer.

posted this a month ago. Some of these things are not exactly state secrets and yet Hamm seems to constantly have another take on it. Up until the offer yesterday, he was telling people to move on from Boyd. He was clearly surprised by it despite the decision being made over the weekend (before the LSU or Bama offer btw)
quote:

as I pointed out A&M had no choice to offer if they wanted to stay in it [for Boyd] - Taylor Hamm yesterday

Hamm has some good sources but that quote is comical given Boyd's reaction. I'm not trying to knock Hamm. He works very hard and gets info from a lot of different people. But his sources aren't always perfect. And it can be tough because things move so I don't like to judge. I really shouldn't have said anything tbh.

But ftr, Terry Price was the primary on Evans, not Joseph

So are you trying to say Joseph wouldn't know about a safety because price was the lead?

Whatever

Hammbone already got on my arse for posting shite so I'll just keep my mouth shut now

Of course Joseph would know. But your point of Hamm being first on it doesn't mean anything in relation to Joseph.
