I'd ask if failing to advance out of our own regional would put Childress in jeopardy, but then I remembered that Eric "do nothing but collect salary" Hyman is still the AD.

Name anything he has done...at all since being named AD besides get into a pissing contest with Kevin Sumlin.

I think the only thing he has done was to tell people that we need to "manage our expectations". He's literally wasting air right now.

What has he won? The only thing he should be judged on is post season. And one trip to the cws and getting swept isn't very impressive.

This is a little ridiculous considering how random the postseason can be. Do you think FSU should fire Mike Martin? Is that coach at Fresno who has a title and is like 400-310 in his career at Fresno a better coach than Martin?
I'm certainly not the biggest Childress supporter but judging a college baseball coach solely on the postseason is absurd. I do agree he eventually needs to answer for not being able to get it done at that time of year.
