So looks like we've decided that if our 1B can't hit, he might as well be able to field. So embarrassing seeing a "3" in the 9-hole in the lineup

hey! I think Aggie Baseball reads tArk! I notice they added a pitch counter in the bottom right.

Unfortunately, it reminds me why losing Minter was such a big deal. Long is piling up the pitch count early (as he's prone to do) which means he's not going deep today. With Sunday being Johnny Fullstaff that can be problematic

Auburn 1 1 0
Texas A&M 0 0 0
Bottom 1st

Yeah, a BB and HBP in the first inning isn't a great start.

Banks' speed has basically loaded the bases with no one out here for us

You nailed it re: Long's pitch count.
He can't continue to do what he did w that third batter (KBBFBFFB) and expect to stay in.

Problems in the field again as we start with an E5 and then a double goes thru Melton that scored a run

Auburn 2 2 1
A&M 4 5 1

TMC got some 903 kids looking for a football offer... And what's with all the pick off moves?

Auburn apparently likes to run. I dunno. Most of the time pitchers start laboring they look for a break by making lame moves. Both pitchers need a break. There have been a lot of runners this game

Striking out on a full count isn't the way to do it.
