Let them visit all they want, he's solid. Interesting tidbit on deionte Thompson from Hamm just right now
quote:
As for Thompson, I will be making my “flip pick” on the Top247 defender to A&M here soon. Before I go any further, I want to caution everyone that I don’t think we’ll see him make any moves anytime soon. However, after talking with Thompson, sources on the A&M side and people close to the 4-star ball hawk, I feel Coach Sumlin will eventually get him to flip.

Wrong year. Thompson is 2015.

quote:scout is reporting he is looking to get to Austin this weekend. Early this morning, harvey told Hamm that is not true. Said hell have more later
Harvey
quote:just spoke on how olaka "might" visit Texas this weekend. Not much really. Said hell pass more info when the in homes are over
Olaka
quote:that terry Joseph is putting some work in on his dad. That we are chipping away at OU. Joseph and Spav will be back next week for an in home. To quote Hamm "he's up in the air"
Parker
quote:we are telling him he needs to make a decision because we can't get to NSD and have him nit sign with a&m
McGraw

Did someone say that Donovan Wilson got an offer from TCU today earlier on here or did I read it somewhere else? Anyways, we need to get an offer in front of him quick if McGraw isn't going to commit.

I saw that on 247. Hamm just said that Wilson was coming this weekend. He's probably going to get an offer then

Per their coaches, Texas commits Armanti and D'Onta Foreman looking to take an official visit to Missouri soon. That's surprising.
I'm mentioning this for reasons I can't say

Did you see that strong pulled Hemphill's offer?
Posted on 1/23/14 at 3:33 pm to WestCoastAg
yeah, and I'd be really interested to know an honest opinion from Coach Martin. I doubt he'd ever say it, but my guess is he's furious about it. For the life of me it makes no sense unless you are 100% positive you don't want him.
Given Joseph is there today, I wonder if Anderson and Hemphill got an invite for our JR day. Coach Martin and Koda are going to be in town....

I just don't get why you burn a bridge at a big time HS program within your first month on the job.
Would Anderson and Hemphill get an invite? Seems like the only 16 guys we are really recruiting right now are sure thing can't miss

Yeah I dunno. They are borderline. But you can do it like the TD Moton thing and they basically get to spend the whole weekend in CS by coming with their coach. Well, assuming Coach Martin wants to chaperon them all weekend.

Very interesting. Will see what Horns friends have to say.
