Any chance Hall actually plays safety at the next level? Is his position a big factor in his recruitment? I think we could really use him more in the secondary and he would probably see the field quicker

It's my understanding that he's pretty open to either and we've told him whatever gets him on the field first.

Any word on how Justin manning has progressed throughout his red shirt season? Is he expected to be a factor on the line next season? I had almost forgotten about him.

Lol I'm not even mad. Have fun playing on Wednesday nights on blue turf in Idaho. Just a stupid decision, I assume Hall will fill up his spot nicely though

eh, you shouldn't get mad anyway. He simply changed his mind. These are kids that are making huge decisions and emotion plays a ton into it.

Yeah I don't get mad about anything recruiting wise, but if you want to go to Boise over A&M or any SECW/ Big 12 South school as a native Texan then alright. Different priorities I guess

He threw away legit starting time early at a program that is quickly becoming a MAJOR one, playing with a teammate and friend in kam miles, and playing in his home state.... just to follow a coach? Wish him luck

I prob shouldn't repeat this story bc I really don't know all the details exactly but it's something like this: a GA (Ward) on our staff this year was a former coach at West Mesquite. He thought he was going to Boise and crossed a line and he was given his walking papers.
Yates stuck around and coached the bowl game. Ward is gone and he's not going to Boise I don't think. I think the falling out here with Sumlin has resulted in this and it may also hurt our WM recruiting longer term
