How so?

Uga had a better offense than the vols had in 2023.

Hard to argue against this idea.

UGA does put defensive guys in the league. And that has dick to do with my statement. Kirby is not an offense minded coach. He wants minimal talent that just doesn’t lose games as opposed to Heupel that actually expects QBs to want to be starting QBs. Completely different mindsets and approaches to the QB position. Beck, Fromm, and Bennett are what he wants, guys that are not going to lose a game, guys that are not going to take a chance. He wants game managers and a very deep defensive front 7.

How on UGAs O skill guys really matters? Especially this year. Bowers is gone and they don’t have a great RB. When UGA wins it’s because of fortuitous scheduling and defensive front 7 depth.

1998 was purely due to ‘fortuitous scheduling’ and an enormous amount of luck.

Yer gonna lose three games this year and then Kirby will leave. Then you'll hire Lane Kiffin and spiral down to a hole in the ground.

Yawn. Do better. And look, the 1st regular season meeting for UGA and Bama in a while is the 1st time Bama has had a new coach. How fortuitous. Ducking them for most of a decade has finally paid off.

Uga had a better offense than UT in 2021 as well.

We defeated like 8 or 10 bowl teams in that year back when bowl games still mattered. I forget the exact number but we faced a lot of good teams that year including an OOC with Syracuse led by the famous QB Donovan McNabb.

You're saying Beck and Bennett are/were just playing to not lose? You are doing nothing but showing your low football IQ Smokey.

Newsflash bro; Beck, in his first year as a starter, threw for 4000 yds and is now the front runner for the Heisman and possible first round draft pick.

Bennett - In his 2 championship seasons had combined 7000+ passing yds, 56 TDs and only 14 ints. Ask the LSU fans if he is only a QB that plays to not lose....in the SECCG against them, he threw for 275 yds, had 4 passing TDs, 2 rushing TDs and an %80 comp.......EIGHTY %!

Does all of that sound like Smart is not getting QBs that can smoke anyone on any given day? Come on dude, admit you're wrong and you can be forgiven. Don't admit it and you are hearby proclaimed an orange idiot along with all the rest of these Vol goofballs that have crawled out of the woodwork that don't know a football from a cow patty.

14 games against a charmin schedule. Game was never in Becks hands. Offseason Heisman? Print the cups baby!

Bennett played in what 15 games a year? Per game he was very mid. And again wasn’t expected to do anything but not be the reason they lost. By the way, any updates on Bennett? I doubt he is back finishing up his degree and he has to be out of rehab by now.

Bennett was a heisman finalist, the mvp of 4 playoff games, and won back to back championships. Name a Tennessee quarterback with similar accomplishments.

Bennett was a heisman finalist

Because Hooker was injured. And the it was because of UGA not anything Bennett did

This is true. Bennett was a heisman finalist because he showed out in the biggest games. Hooker wasn’t because he folded in games that mattered. You also never named a Tennessee quarterback with similar accomplishments as Bennett. Wonder why…

A season ending injury is hardly folding. Bennett was given an invite because of UGAs success, UGAs success was due to defensive front 7 depth an fortuitous scheduling.

Oh and I found a Bennett update. Assuming he doesn’t relapse he has 2 more opportunities to say he’s an NFL QB while the Rams number 2 is suspended to start the season. After that it’s practice squad until he starts selling insurance

Let’s see your idea of when a game is in a single players hands. Other than kicker of course.

I can't help it that UT sucks and hurt our SOS...

But gees Smokey. I really wanna think you are not a 'rainman' when it comes to cfb, but this is just dumb. Anyone who thinks that Bennett, who won MVP in an SECCG and not one but TWO nattie games? Come on dude, my wife knows better. And as far as the schedule.....I'll go back and pull up the thread awhile back; Go look at the comparison between our 2 natty seasons and compare them to Bama's last two natty schedules and see who played the most and highest ranked teams. You'll see that this whole, 'soft schedule' thing just doesn't hold water.

It's official, I honestly think you and Serraneaux are the same, dumb person....along with all of these goofball alters lurking on here now.

He lost to UGA and South Carolina with a chance at the playoffs on the line.

Against UGA he went 23/33 for 195 yards with 0 touchdowns and 1 interception. Feel free to explain how those are heisman numbers. He also lost to Purdue in a bowl game which isn’t an important game but it’s still funny.

His performance in those 2 humiliating losses is the folding part.

Of those 33 picks:

17 d draft picks
15 o draft picks
1 ST draft pick

Looks very well rounded to any reasonable person.
