So I didn’t think it was possible for our oline to look any worse than they already have

Then comes today in what might be the worst performance I’ve ever seen out of a Tennessee (or any team for that matter) oline AGAINST CHARLOTTE of all ppl

I don’t want to revel in the depression or sadness or whatever the frick but I’m simply baffled. How can this line look THIS bad against CHARLOTTE? I don’t even think we came out flat

I’m just baffled, gonna quit typing now as to not saying anything to bad about some kids who ultimately play for free but lets just say next year can’t come soon enough for this group

ETA: I’ll say one more thing: nothing personal but Drew Richmond should absolutely not start another game, idc who you have to put in there, the replacement can’t be any worse

They still aren’t professionals, yes we can critique them but I think only to a point. There is a line, just my humble opinion

It honestly makes me think Helton might be a good OC considering the smoke and mirrors he's used to put up ok numbers against the good teams.

I don’t think there’s really any fair way to judge him or Friend off of this season

I think he's done a good job given the Div 4 OL he has to work with. Hard to call anything when you've got 5 guys that can't block 3 or a max protect that can't max protect

It is truly baffling how this oline could be this bad. We HAVE to pull Morris and Wright to have an inkling of a chance to compete next year.

This is the truth. Our OL is freaking tiny.

How is this a thing? I just don't get it. Missouri has cheerleaders that are bigger than our OL...

We should recruit State's cheerleaders - they could start on half of the OL's in the SEC.

OL played well against UK? Pretty crazy turn around from last week

It really is. I don't know what Friend did to get that performance out of them but I hope they keep doing it. They were fantastic considering the circumstances and the opponent.

I can't remember the exact stat but it was something like 'the only two teams to rush for over 200 yards against UK's DL are Georgia and Tennessee.' That's some good OL play.

It’s mind boggling how much better they played. I know the coaches point to having a running game with a pulse as a reason for why they were so much better at pass protection but it can’t be just that. They didn’t remotely look like the same guys from last week.

Either way props to them, helluva game
