Pruitt has an offer in his hands. If he can bring Tosh, and get a good OC we'll be in good shape on D and recruiting. Personally I wish there was another option than Tee, but I don't think that'll be the case. If it is Tee, there we should be loaded on recruiting, my concern is his OC capabilities

Lol

I will say I'm excited that I've heard that Pruitt has an offer AND that I haven't heard that Steele has one. That in itself is a victory. If Pruitt comes and brings Tosh with him, that's a big win for the crooting. If Lindsey doesn't take the USA job and comes, that's good for the offense. If it's Tee, I'm less optimistic about the offense; but feel even better about the crooting.

In theory we should also be able to put together a pretty good staff of young guys if it is Pruitt. We should be saving money on the HC, allowing him to bring together a really good staff. That of course is in theory, which is the opposite of how any of this has played out. So yes we'll end up with Steele

I refuse to believe anything until it actually happens but I'd be cool with Pruitt then Tee as OC

Everyone's so down on Tee (and pruitt for that matter) cause of lack of experience but I'm ready for some new blood

You know who had head coaching experience? Dooley and Butch. How'd that workout for us?

Would Tee really come here to be OC for Pruitt? Pruitt, Tosh, and Tee would make Butch’s recruiting look like Dooley. 90s level roster after a few years.

I doubt Tee and Tosh would come assuming Tosh would get an offer to to replace Pruitt.

"I got a guy"

guy I know that has been on the money with the last few things(Currie being out west when no one knew where he was, Currie "getting" Leach, Currie going rogue and doing so on KSU plane). Told me all of these things a few hours before the stories broke

that I don't know. I've seen the Pruitt bringing Tosh thing a few places. He hasn't really ever stayed at one place too long so it would fit the bill for him to jump ship, but I don't disagree that Saban might offer him the DC position.

What I can't really understand is the Tee and Pruitt thing. Reading all of these boards, you would think Tee coming in some form or fashion is almost a given now. I don't think Tee and Pruitt have ever worked together though so I can't imagine him being Pruitt's first choice for OC, or accepting a HC position with Phil telling him he has to hire Tee.

At this point I think I'd be happy with Pruitt given what he's done as a DC AND the fact that he's not Kevin Steele. Better bring a badass staff though given the fact that we were ready to throw some big money for a HC, so we should have enough laying around to let him pay some guys.

I don't know how old some of you guys are, but he was a DB coach under Rush Propst for Hoover High on the MTV show Two A Days. It's still weird as hell for me seeing him on the sidelines after seeing him in that show growing up

Doubtful Pruitt can bring Tosh. Saban really likes him and got him a big raise when Kirby tried to bring him to Georgia. Tosh will be offered the DC slot and a big raise to stay.
