It wouldn't surprise me at all if Chandler RS'd. You have a strong RB1 in Kelly and two decent backups with CFA and Jordan. Get those two a little in-game experience, and after Kelly declares after a breakout season, Chandler wins the RB1 role with two decent, experienced backs behind him and three years of eligibility in front. We all thought Guarantano would get playing time last year as well - look how that turned out. I'm not saying Chandler WILL RS, only that I would not be surprised to see it. I guess it also depends on how well he compares in pass blocking and his ability to catch.

I will be shocked if Chandler red shirts. They love what they have seen from him from everything that I have read.

Chandler needs a lot of time in the weight room but he has the speed and playmaking ability that will get him to the field regardless.

Chandler will definitely not redshirt. I think Coleman is the RB headed for a redshirt barring injuries.

How do you see the order shaking out, JK - CFA - Chandler - Jordan?

Or do you see one of the freshman jumping CFA in the depth chart?

Kelly is going to get it as much as possible. Everybody you ask says he's the best player on the roster. I think he has a pretty good shot at setting the single season UT rushing record. CFA may open up as the 2 but I think Chandler probably settles in. He is the most explosive of the group. Jordan has drawn young JK comparisons so I think he is the #4 but the Chandler/Jordan combo is exciting to think about for the future. Haven't heard much on Coleman.

I like Kelly a lot and think he's very underrated by others around our conference but woah lol

That would be quite impressive

This would be awesome considering no one outside this fanbase even knows his name.

He has looked so good in limited touches. He is definitely faster than Kamara, has a bowling ball build and runs angry. Shown good vision and cutting ability. I do question how Jones' offense is going to look without a running QB. If we go back to that unblocked fake read like with Worley it will make things hard on him. Still believe he could have won the USCe game if he was allowed to. Almost 100 yards on only 14 carries.

Receivers as a group look really talented, too.

Damn that thing to hell without a mobile QB. That play pissed me off to no end with Worley. Defenses knew he was going to hand it off every single time
