I want Nova to win. Tennessee needs that game. WKU doesn’t do much for us win or lose.

We've been close the last few years in these tournaments, but haven't been able to close. See Wisconsin and Oregon in OT in last years Maui invitational. This was a nice win for us today. Hoping that we can get Nova tomorrow and give them a great game.

This game is also pretty much over. Nova up 59-43 with under 4 left in the game.

Nova didn’t play very well today. Tomorrow will be a very tough game though. VOLS playing with house money imo.
Hope Zona and SMU win tonight. Would guarantee another very good opponent Friday.
Mercer is 85 on KenPom as well (our first game back in the States next week).
Tennessee was already projected to have the #1 SOS at season’s end by KenPom before drawing Nova and Zona or SMU so it is only getting stronger.
Wake and Iowa State look to be underwhelming though.

I'm liking how the schedule is falling into place. I just hope we can take a few of those close games this year. Last year, we took a bunch of good teams down to the wire and lost. I just want to turn the corner on a reasonable percentage of them (ie, instead of losing almost all those close matchups against top competition, winning 25-50% of them).
