quote:

That Fulmer has wiped the slate clean with the coaching search and is starting over. Said his first two targets are confirmed to be Fuente and Patterson and he's contacting them directly (no agents) to see if they're interested.

Also reported that Bev Davenport went over Haslam's head to appoint Fulmer as AD. Said Haslam wanted Currie's assistant (forgot his name) and Bev told him "over my dead body." Said we owe Bev Davenport a lot of gratitude for standing up to the Haslams.

I want to believe but Fuente's buyout for just himself is like $7M and I'm sure Patterson's is up there since he just got an extension recently

Didn't Basilio used to be in tune when Fulmer was there and then lose his contacts after and kinda go off the rails? Unless I'm misremembering (quite possible) he may be back in the loop with Fulmer as AD.

Iirc, Basilio had regular access to the team and coaches when Fulmer was at the helm. I had moved to Virginia by the time Kiffin was hired, and none of the fancy radio apps and Smartphones were invented yet (or they were too Damn expensive lol), so I don't know if that changed with Kiffin, Dooley or Lyle.
