Nebraska Boosters Come Home Empty Handed

Couple of the bigger Nebraska Boosters didn't hear what they wanted from Frost. He's at the largest school in Florida and can get on his bike and fill his roster. New baby on the way, not interested in the road grind it would take to fill a Nebraska roster.
This is a real opportunity for UT. Every coach has to do roadwork but let's be honest. He's home a hell of alot more at UT than at NU.

UT is easy to recruit from and is only getting easier with instate talent booming (for some reason tRant refuses to accept the new reality that TN HS football is no longer a subpar producer). The question with Frost is whether our admin is smart enough to go after him and whether Frost is tied to Nebraska emotionally. IOW, is Nebraska where he truly wants to be? I hope the answer to that is no but can't discount the pull of home for some people.
Looking at Frost and UT as a potential match, I think it would be as good of a fit as you could ask for with someone who is relatively unproven. We have the players for the type of football he wants to play, the facilities to compete with anyone and everyone and the largest recruiting budget in the nation. He's fully aware of our traditions and the type of program we are as well as where we should be. He's one of the few young candidates who wouldn't come into the position naive at what the demands and expectations truly are.
I like him as a candidate a lot but I don't know how high up on our list he is or who we're actually going after.

I think Frost and Kelly should be the top 2 candidates for the UT job. They have a young QB to run Chips offense. They would be my top to picks to replace Mac if he is fired .
