How good/bad will 2017 shake out?
6-6 or 10-2?

I said 11-1 last season and I say 10-2 this season, so probably 7-5.
We should have been 11-1 though, how the frick did Butch lose to A&M, USCe, and Vandy? It was actually impressive to pull that off.

Losing to Vandy when Dobbs was having a good night was so impressive it is not possible to say.
I think we lose to Bammer, UF and UGa at least.

That schedule looks scary. I have to be real honest when I say that every part of our roster feels meh at best. anywhere there is talent there is no experience and everywhere there is experience there is meh talent. Then we have those DBs out there running what feels like 5.0+ 40 times getting roasted by players from Vandy and I get even more worried.
That said, I can see any scenario from 6-6 to 9-2.
Then I remember that Butch is coaching this team and I just want to skip this season and go to 2018...

It has passed without a ripple per se, but the staff will be very different from last year.
Did Jones move some of them along (presumably Debord any way) or did they look for positions with other programs?
And the OC pick hasn't called plays since he coached in high school?

Agreed, we completely overhauled our staff. If we have quality QB play we could surprise. But as of now anyone could make a case for 5-7 or 12-0.

I think the defense is improved but the offense will be a work in progress. Hopefully 8 wins is enough for Butch to make a move to another job.

The GA Tech game is big. Lose that and the damn wheels could come off the bus early. Those cut blocking bastards will run for 600. Get that one and we can win 8, maybe 9. Lose it and it is likely a 6 win season, maybe 7.
