In order to roll into his freshman year with knowledge of the offense.
Solid play by his old man

I would agree. After talking with Dormady this week, I'm not sure even a Texas offer would change anything for him at this point. He seems pretty set on the Vols.
I've been told that his dad, who serves as Dormady's head coach at Boerne, even is planning to change some of his offense's terminology this season to match Tennessee's so that Quinten can get a head start on learning the Vols' offense.

I don't follow recruiting very much what's his star rating? And I wonder just how much they are changing, "some" is pretty vague

4* #5 prostyle QB in the country on 247.

His dad runs a spread at Quentins HS. So I'd imagine they're already running quite a bit of the same base plays. It'll help familiarize him and make the transition a little easier for him I would imagine.

It'll be great to transition for the run to the SECCG in 2015

Dobbs will be at the reins for that imo.

I'm not sold on Dobbs yet. Dormandy could turn out to be a great one.
