We are 1-10 on 3rd down and 1-4 on 4th down.

What’s sad is we had two plays that could have won the game
Fumbled on 1st and goal inside the 5
Pass to the 1 yd line called back on holding. Change those two plays we are up 21-20
But this has been the problem with Lebbys teams regardless of injuries, they have no grit and no discipline. They have the game in a position to win and blow it every fricking time not by getting physically beat but by stupid penalties or dumb turnovers. We lost several close games last season like that. And that’s a coaching problem it’s a lack of discipline and lack of confidence. Leachs teams were opposite and could be down 3 scores and come back and win. Coaches like leach or saban chewed arse when players fricked up like that. Lebby does not and it shows

People can hate on Puckett but for a walk on freshman from a private school he has done fine. He has been thrown in an impossible situation with a shite Oline and makes good decisions and shows grit and poise. Yea he makes mistakes but he is a freshman, but honestly with a good OL and experience he could make a decent game manager QB. IMO he overperforms it’s the rest of the team that isn’t stepping up

I never claimed it was every game
But it’s a constant issue in close games. We blew several including OT with Texas last year

Well at least we made it interesting
Silver lining is Fluff is healthy and Puckett showed some good plays and throws against a great defense so maybe we can manage to beat Auburn and Vandy and get 7 wins but damn we need to get a couple defensive players back off the injuries
