Ok Rebs, what is the deal on the kid that made the FG and won a million bucks

That’s the best kick on that deal I have ever seen, would have been good from 50. Is that really first time kicking a football. I knew he had a shot when he said he was soccer player.
Does he just get the cash or is it some type of annuity or something. My wife thinks it had to be for educational expenses …

And he was shoeless. Prior to his kick all I could think of was he’s going to break a toe.

I can guarantee that he was probably just like me pretending to kick field goals in the yard as a kid. Even in high school I could have made that kick just from playing soccer. I probably would have rathered barefoot too. I could probably still make that kick. I would pull 18 different muscles and wouldnt be able to walk for a month. But, I could make it.

Have not thought of this in years, until reading this post. We built a field goal out of stolen construction site lumber, pulled it out on Saturdays. Kicked a lot of barefoot field goals while listening to games on FM radio. Still would have shanked the frick out of it with money on the line!

We had a basketball goal in the driveway with thin tall pine trees behind it. I would go to the other side of the yard and across the driveway to my neighbors yard and I would kick from there. I figured over the backboard and between the trees was good.
