Serious question, I know liggins is probably going to OM and lives in Oxford but if he wants to play QB like he has said his whole recruiting process why would he go to OM with 4 QB's on roster and just got a JUCO player in Wallace? I would think he would want to come to MSU where we only have 2 on scholarship and could compete for the back-up role idk though

Its not like any of the QB's at OM are sure things. He could easily be in the running for playing time quickly there as well.

Well, Stoudt and Mackey both graduate after next season.
That means we only have 2 QBs on campus this time next year as far as what is on our staff now. Brunetti graduates after that.
QB's don't typically look at the depth chart in regards to the following season. That's just far too unrealistic.
Figuring Liggins RS's, our QB depth his first playing year is Brunetti(SR.), Wallace(JR.), and Liggins(RS FRosh).

We're trying to pull Jacoby Briscoe but it looks like we just waited too long, doubt he visits.
I wish we'd push for Ed Pope or Dom Wheeler but it doesn't look like we are.

I think this one is more of Freeze honoring Nutt's offering him of a scholarship.
I haven't seen/heard much about Beathard but I think Freeze is hoping for him being solid depth QB. Hopefully more than just a warm body. But like I said.....I haven't seen much of him so I could be way off base.

Alabama just doesn't have the room to be flexible. But we can't just waste that last spot hoping on a maybe (Goldman, Winston) when we know one kid won't qualify at least. Take the guy that wants to come no matter what.

No idea who we'll land, but we're going hard after the following and have room for plenty more.
Leonard Williams, Eddie Goldman, Jameis Winston, Deon Bush, Arik Armstead, Stefon Diggs, Ronald Darby, Kwon Alexander (doesn't sound like we are anymore), Stephen Weatherly, Avery Young, Cordarelle Patterson, and Menelik Watson. There may be a couple more that aren't being talked about as much, but we are in good shape with all of the above.
Stefon Diggs, Arik Armstead, and AA's brother are all on official visits in Auburn as I type.
