Chad Simmons spends a full month scouting MS at this point each season for Rivals. Rivals also has a fan crystal ball and tracks those rankings. Pretty neat.

If I read correctly nobody knew anything about him. But if Saban is willling to take a kid not even ranked by recruiting services yet you have to think he’s a player.

I would love to see a supplemental composite based on offers with weighted points depending on who you have offers from, and those schools are weighted by where they finished in the Top 25 on a 3 yr rolling average.

Offer from Bama- 25 points
Offer from Clemson - 24 points
Offer from UGA - 23 points
Offer from Oklahoma - 22 points

Etc.

Just as a fun number, so you can look a scout grades and camp grades and also look at who/what schools potentially think about a guy.

I know such a number would short guys who commit early and shutdown their recruitment, which is why this would just be a fun-number to see, not necessarily a grade.

Interesting way to rank players I'll take a closer look later but would it be a feasible upgrade from what we have now or yould you just add it on as a feature?

Tons of offers go out from some schools that aren't committable until the schools complete their evaluations.

I like TexAgs simply because they are straight with their customers - if we don't have much of a chance with a recruit they don't beat around the bush. Plus they don't rush to be first, possibly ruining a recruit's moment

And you know they have the information in advance, because as soon as the commitment is public, they have an in-depth article posted within minutes, usually with an interview attached

I look at em all. 247 ratings matter the most imo not composite. The 247 they put together

Even tho I think one kid Jordan Young is super underrated and Boone and Watson lol

Huh I usually go by the 247 composite because it factors in the ranks of the other sites as well

TexAgs is that good if you can filter the Liucci is a god crap out. They definitely have the pulse of what is going on. Plus there are a lot of coaches on that site with interesting insight
