Doesn't relate one bit to whether or not Ole Miss is cheating. Although, they love to use that as their only argument.

Humor me. How does that not relate?

I am going to go out on a limb and say not only is this the best class they have ever had it is the best class they will ever have. Everything lined up perfect for them this year. Having Denzel gave them the #1 ranked kid. RN recruited very hard and convinced some of the other studs to follow him. They also came off a positive season and had tons of momentum going into NSD.

Don't think anyone is going to argue that the stars aligned this year. Well done, the best thing Nutt ever did for you guys was picking up Denzel.

But, pulling Tunsil who has been all UGA for a year + and Golson who has been a Nole for 2+ years, is enough circumstantial proof for me. Especially considering how close it was to NSD. That rarely happens and never to teams like Ole Miss (no offense).

We beat UGA for Tunsil.

It's nothing against UGA, they are a top notch program w/ great recruiters, but they didn't resonate well with him on his official there. Everyone said it. It wasn't a fit - he's a quiet kid.

Our coaches sell the vision well and it paid off.

I could be way off but I don't think this has any chance of happening without RN's help.

Knemdiche had a brother on the team
Treadwell had a best friend from HS on the OM team
Tony Conner goes to USP and they always go to OM

The only one they really got was tunsil

You're so god damn pissed off and I love it!

RN and Treadwell piqued his interest.

Freeze won Tunsil's mom over on the visit.

I'm pretty old and can't remember the year (and couldn't find it with a google search), but I seem to recall Sports Ilustrated reporting back in the pre-interent days something along the lines of "the last time the Rebels recruited this well, Gen. Lee was sitting on the veranda."

As an LSU fan who grew up with Ole Miss being our most significant rival, I welcome the Black Bears revitalization (particularly if, please please please, it can come at the expense of our other Western division rivals).

So you don't think showing improvement on 7-6 to say a possible 9-4 or 10-3 next year, we can't have a top 10 class?

That's IF we show that improvement. Just don't see how you can say "It won't happen!!1!" (Because you're a mad MSU fan)

Be realistic and objective. I'm not saying it WILL happen, but hey you never know.

I mean, literally, if it is just that damn simple to "buy" recruits then why doesn't everybody else just do it?

Hmm. I'm sure you can figure that one out.

OM has the pieces pointing in that direction. Freeze just needs to keep his momentum.
