My family was like this and then I dated a mixed girl that was, for all intensive purposes, black. I figured out it wasn't weird at all. It all works just the same

I don't think it is fair if you have a mixed kid, especially in the south and it is a black/white mix because that kid will encounter so many problems from others and may not feel like he/she fits in anywhere. That's my main reason for avoiding interracial..the possibility of a mixed child.

I know a couple mixed girls I'm friends with who are cool as shite. I just wouldn't want to have to deal with those troubles as a parent.

You know what else isn't "natural"? Like, everything. The internet, the clothes you wear, etc.
Bad argument is bad. I don't have children, but so long as the people they marry or date or whatever are successful, smart, and honest, I will be happy for and with them.
