To see if Coach Boom can flip Bo Scarbrough to UF.
I hear he's trying very hard and he's listening.
Would be a major coup if he succeeded.

Unless Bama jumps ship on Bo Scarbrough, he is signing with Bama. Anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional

I've heard and read that about many players who were "locks" to the favorite school. See Hugh Freeze or any other coach who were good enough to pry players from their "dream" school.
As I said in the previous post, it would be a major coup if he did it. I didn't say Scarbrough would end up going to UF.

Diff situations than Bo there is absolutely 0% chance of flipping him
His mother works for the University (did long before he was a major prospect) and we just signed his best friend on Wed
UF has a better shot of landing Marlon Humphrey (vert slim) than flipping Bo

Hey Bucc, clarify this for me: What sort of percentage do you put on Nick Watkins?
Posted on 2/10/13 at 5:40 pm to Analyze That
Based on early reports and level of interest seems like his leader is Bama but there is obviously a long way to go till NSD next yr but right now I'd say:
Bama - 55%
Tx school (likely Texas, but I'm not counting out aTm) - 25%
LSU - 20%
I think in the end the kid will leave the state and it will be a Bama v LSU battle

LSU seems to be in pretty good shape at CB for 14'

Well I do where contacts, but otherwise my vision is great.
Maybe I just getting greedy, but if USC keeps up its stink fest a lot of California prospects might start looking East.

Not sure how LSU won't land Tony Brown I'm assuming as has been stated his older sister picking LSU was a huge in road with him but I think LSU loses the battle for Watkins
Bama should also do very well

Other than Humphry and Watkins, who else are you looking to land?

Jalen Tabor, Nick Ruffin, Stephen Roberts, and DJ Smith is still being evaluated.

So you would prefer to take Jalen Hurd and a WR?

I'd take Hurd under the guise of him playing RB, then switch him to WR or Safety. Bama has told a WR prospect they aren't taking many true WRs in the '14 class. I think 2 true WRs are it, if not just 1.
He doesn't like Bama's depth though, that's why Bama went from his leader to I think 4th. They told him he could play RB, matter of fact he was turned off by being recruited as an athlete by Michigan.
He's a compiler at RB, he gets it fed to him like Derrick Henry got the ball in HS...

So Laurence "Hootie" Jones is an uncertainty then?

He hasn't been mentioned much recently.

That seems to be what's happening on our side as well.

There is a 0% chance of Bo going anywhere that is not Alabama.
