Bob Stoops/OU sending guys to the NFL..that's the whole debate and BAMA fans are claiming to have sent more players to the NFL than Bob Stoops has at OU.

Which is false..yet these gumps kept saying so and when i prove them wrong with a link, he says "current".

So why not average the number of players Stoops has sent per year and do the same for Saban?

Taking credit for Saban's NFL players from LSU sounds like an Auburn move..

Regardless, OU has sent more players to the NFL in the Stoops era and he's 2-0 against you clowns and undefeated in Bryant Denny Stadium!!!

How you like them apples?

Wow, you have a short memory. Remember when I posted this at the top of the previous page?

quote:

Wow, I really got under your skin, didn't I? I'm sorry to upturn your world view, but the fact is that Bama has more former players currently on NFL rosters than OU. And like I said, that differential will only increase with each passing year.

And you quoted it and even bolded the word "currently" and responded with this:

quote:

Players retire cum stain..nice spin though.

Only after that did you respond with your "proof" using the arbitrary timeframe of 2000.

You knew you had lost the debate about who had the most players currently in the NFL so you tried to shift the timeframe to something that you could defend.

Yea..and a BAMA replied with "no, BAMA has more former players in the NFL"

which led to more BAMA fans jumping in and saying "he Mad"

..and they we're all fricking wrong.

Who said anything about taking credit for his players at LSU?

Auburn has more players currently in the NFL and has sucked for essentially 4 out of the last 5 years.

So was Auburn... until Saban got there.

It's exactly the opposite Sart.

The whole time i've been talking about Stoops sending guys to the NFL...

You replied with "i just want to say BAMA has more former NFL players then Oklahoma"

Stoops era started in 2000...

YOU we're wrong and then said "well currently BAMA has more players" and tried to spin it around...

YOU are a dumbass and just got called out!!!

You did...

"So why not average the number of players Stoops has sent per year and do the same for Saban?"

Which would be Saban while he was at LSU....that has nothing to do with BAMA and therefore, would be stupid to use in an argument about BAMA supposedly sending more guys to the NFL then Oklahoma...what SART originally tried to say but then backtracked and used the word "currently" after he realized he was wrong and is a dumbass.

If you still don't understand wtf is going on...re-read the past 3 pages and you'll see how complicated it is to explain shite to SEC fans without them spinning the argument around

Me thinks you do understand the term "former players IN the NFL." He is saying there are more former bama players currently playing IN the NFL... which is true... for both bama and Auburn.

Sorry, should have specified. I was referring to the players Saban has sent from bama. Hence why you would average them.

He understands. He's just incapable of admitting:
1. that he was wrong
2. that Bama and Auburn have more former players in the NFL

The difference in total players drafted since 2000 is 5

Bama has 55

OU has 60

What's funny is you apply this magical plateau of 2000, OU had no one good drafted in the 200 NFL Draft 1st rd 20 overall pick to the Lions was Stockar McDougle?? 2nd rd to the Chiefs was William Bartee

In the 2000 NFL Draft, Bama had arguably most likely 2 HOFers (if not HOF, established NFL Careers) 3rd overall pick was Chris Samuels (6x Pro Bowler for Washington), 19th overall pick was Shaun Alexander (3x Pro Bowler, broke rushing & TD records)

....however I think it's safe to say Bama will eclipse OU's total either this yr or next

3 off hand that I can think of for OU, at least 4 in the 1st rd for Bama

My point is...Bama can make the EXACT same argument for producing NFL Talent, particularly on defense

Bucc

For the 10th time, "since 2000" was based on the Stoops era and you can go back further if you want but i'm talking about recent past.

Stoops began in 99 at OU so 62 is accurate 62-55

What's funny is you keep trying to spin it like i care that much in the first place. I made my point and y'all kept throwing in other arguments.

Bama fans criticising Tony Jefferson for his 40 time and knocking him as a player when he's at a program that has been better at producing NFL talent is hilarious. That was the main point i was making to TideSaint.
