He’s going to Georgia apparently

16% of South Carolina roster is OT's?
Posted on 7/11/18 at 2:16 pm to 3morereps
56% UGA - 44% SC
I like our chances.
He's a UGA Legacy, uncle and dad played there.
Uncle BMac now is the OC at SC.
He says he likes both staffs equally.
Who knows.

We'll see, I guess huh? Pardon the pun.
Boom, T-Rob, The Wolf, B-Mac ... they're pretty good recruiters as well.
But we'll see, we'll see.

He became a definite take recently. Hence all the confidence on the Georgia side as of this week.

Come onnnnnnnnnn. That's just bravo sierra.
He's one of the best OLinemen in the country. No way he hasn't been a take for UGA since the get go.
Now, was Geoegia waiting on him to silently commit or something? So it wouldn't look bad if he comes to SC? I dunno but that makes more sense then some of y'all all the sudden claiming he wasn't a take until just this past week.
FWIW his crystal ball picks went from 83% UGA to 56% ... so something is up there.
Like I typed earlier and we should all agree ... we'll have to wait and see.
Right now it looks like he is leaning towards UGA but he's not going to commit to anyone until late August so it's still early.

Look at our OL depth chart. Consider that we are likely only signing 2, MAYBE 3 OL prospects this year.
Yes, there were questions as to his place on our board. Not trying to be cavalier, just letting you know how it has gone down on our side.
Edit: you are a smart guy and you of all people know to take the crystal ball percentages with a grain of salt.

Did you just take an abbreviation for a cuss word and then stretch it back out into a word longer than the original?

He may pick South Carolina...well...we didn't really want him anyway....oh..he picked UGA (us)...he is the best OL in the nation !!!! Typical fans !!!!! He is still one of the best no matter who he picks, so let it go. If he picks you guys...he is still one of the best IMO....and many others !

You're making a bigger deal out of this than I am. I agree that he is a great player. Georgia will turn away numerous great players on the OL (thanks Pittman). I am merely giving some context as to why many who thought he was South Carolina bound have suddenly changed their mind.

Pittman is the GOAT for lineman.
UGA has recruited an absolute stable of blue chip oline. We can afford to be picky and have been. I'm not saying this guy is not a great player...im not saying this guy wouldn't play at UGA. I am saying that as far as priority goes, due to our recent success recruiting oline, this guy is below some other positions of true need (dline).
I agree its a toss up at this point.

From your OWN 247 Recruiting folks:

I don't trust any of the so-called Insider sites. They take what they know from interviews and combine it with prevailing thoughts, the gossip mill and educated guesses and they prounounce their verdict as if it is the gospel.
They're wrong too often and, if we're being honest, all of us can name times and players where they completely missed the boat.
Last year that exact same site missed at least five times and even more times they didn't declare it correctly until it was common knowledge or moments before announcements.
No one knows what these kids are going to do until they do it.
My guess is at the moment that he is leaning towards Georgia. Everyone is saying it - doesn't take a genius to figure it out.
Still, no one knows until the kid makes it public. He's obviously undecided at the moment or he would have already announced.
Pittman is good, Wolf is good, BMac is a former Recruiter of the Year and his uncle, we've been after him the hardest, shown him "the love" from the get-go, and Boom is one of the finest recruiters around.
This one will come down to the wire.

"All insider sites are useless!"
*Cited crystal ball from insider site as part of initial argument*
Haha. Just giving a hard time. I like Champ and respect his staff, but Pittman is in a separate tier as an OL coach and recruiter. He and Dell McGee get who they want.

Not every offer is a take. Surely you know 100-200 kids can’t all commit.

Oh, wait, now you're saying he was a "take" all along for the Dawgs and y'all have been after him and recruiting him equally hard from the get-go?
Sheeeesh, I'm so confused. Will y'all please make up your minds ladies?
