My guess would be phan. He might not be posting, but I promise he is reading every single word.

We beat OSU by a considerable margin last year even though they had a higher recruit average because the top of our class was so strong. It’s weighted so kickers and stuff like that don’t drag you down heavily etc. Basically if they get more 5 stars and higher rates guys at the top they will weight higher than us even if we have a higher rated per avg.

I'll be just fine with #2 as long as we maintain #1 in average player rating and fill some of our depth issues on DL. We need another competent QB too. Some 2 star that is at least competent enough to hand the ball off and whip a few screens around.

Apparently you don't understand it. The 25 signings per academic year limit does not prevent use of the midyear replacement option to count early enrollees against unused current academic year signee spots (which are unuses signee spots from the prior recruiting cycle).
That's *quite literally* what I was getting at... that someone would try and argue that there is a "hard cap of 25" without understanding what that cap actually means.
I can assure you, not only did I know that, but I've had to explain it to fans of multiple programs including your own on this board and elsewhere.
Clearly poster TS > poster TS1

ETA: In case reading comprehension isn't your strong suit, it was a joke based on the initial exchange from TS and the other poster:

That’s means nothing.
Uh, yeah, it does.
The next "logical" remark is going to be nu uh, followed by a childish application of inaccurate "logic"...
I really did think you might have been one of the more capable Bama posters... sorry to see that I was wrong.

Deeprig, have you looked at Plumlee's junior year Hudl video? Plumlee could start for several SEC programs and be a major upgrade. I love what the guy offers. I just hope we don't lose him.

Majority is fine (I mean, I'd prefer you took none), but you cannot have all because we're taking Dean.
FSU puts the finishing touches on Nakobe Dean's visit on Sunday

One final note on Dean, while he was generally reserved in tipping his hand on a favorite or a decision, his mother wasn't as tight-lipped. As his mother left the Moore Center at FSU to head to the car and leave town, she let her feelings be known by stating, 'If I could sign for him it would be Florida State.'

She's been quoted after most of the "good" visits with over the top remarks about how good the experience was. At UGA, it was the "best visit so far" or something to that effect. We'll see how things stack up as things go forward.
I don't think anyone is calling him a UGA lock just yet... but we're definitely gonna do what we can on our end.

Obviously, I misinterpreted your post. But I understand this one quite clearly. And it says a lot more about you than it does me.

I really like Plumlee. May not be the most accruate Qb on the planet but he’s a hell of an athlete and he’s a gamer.

I did not realize Plumlee was a QB, he is just listed as ATH. That’s very encouraging.

Yep. Not going to blow the doors off of the QB room on day 1, but has potential, could develop into something and will be a more than capable backup relative to maybe some walk-on options.

Plumlee looks like a mini Manziel at QB. He’s gritty

What? He's about an inch taller and roughly the same size. You mean like a "not quite as good as Johnny Manziel, but also white and plays QB"? Hype machine in full effect already.

7/30 musings (Clemson247)
quote:
... Naturally, Booth, Vonta Bentley, Joe Ngata and Etinosa Reuben have garnered the headlines since the weekend, but Clemson advanced its standing with five-star offensive lineman Clay Webb as well. Clemson247 reported on Thursday evening that he'd be making the trek with his mom.
I think it's fair to frame Clemson and Alabama as the frontrunners, although Georgia and Auburn are certainly in the mix and could pull rank over time. A decision isn't expected until after some officials this fall, and I think the longer this recruitment goes the better for Clemson.
What worked in Clemson's favor was the Tigers' ability to attack this recruitment from a pretty under-the-radar position. That's not really the case now after Webb camped at Clemson and elected to return for the All-In Cookout, but it stood true this spring when everybody had already penciled him in as an Alabama commitment.
Mom is a huge fan of Clemson. And sometimes that's all you need to win a recruiting battle. Todd Bates doesn't hurt, either. Talk about a job this guy has been doing on the recruiting trail. Wow...

"mini Manziel"... these two things just don't add up... You mean you see him as a "Manziel type", but either way... you're putting *way* unrealistic expectations on the kid. I've seen both of their films, and nothing about Plumlee says "Expect me to do JFF things in college immediately". He's got development to do...
Excited to have the commitment, but gotta temper the expectations a bit there.

Anna Hickey is the homerist of all homer writers. Literally EVERY kid that visits Clemson is a near lock to pick them according to her.
It can be pretty humorous to track actually.
