It was not a rebuttal..
I did not say we hadn't had a nice few years of talent in georgia, which would be a rebuttal.
You read more into what people say than my wife.

Pretty sure no one is having a hard time with the compliment... It's all the "extra".
It would be like if I said "You make really good posts. But be careful not to go too far because all of this recent stuff makes you look like a buffoon. Make sure not to take that the wrong way because this is a compliment."

You replied to my comment about the state of Georgia about recruits outside of Georgia. If that isn't a rebuttal, I don't know what is then.
Both can be true, but I specifically made a comment about the amount of talent that state has been producing the last few years.

Why would I thank you? I have zero to do with the talent Georgia produces. I found it odd that you described your comment as a compliment. Who were you complimenting? Was it the state of Georgia as a whole or someone specific that you feel is especially responsible for this talent surge?

Is it not a compliment to your program that your team and staff retain this talent?
I mean, I can certainly relate to years Louisiana has had a high number of elite guys we couldn't keep a hold of.

It didn't set me off. Was just providing some context on why your "compliment" might not have been well received.
Ultimately, this thread should have been taken behind the barn and shot a while ago. Only reason I posted the gif was because it was referenced and I think it's hilarious. #1 class in August means about as much as #2 in July... Which is to say... Not a lot. Still a long way to go.
