Already has four 5 star players on 247 locked up . Pretty impressive this early. Probably already locked up number one in recruiting for that year.

It's way to early to tell but they are off to a great start.

Started the 2024 class the same way. Then ratings started to drop and a 5* decommit.

Has anyone ever done a survey on how many earlier commits drop in rank vs ones waiting to commit much later in process. This is a business that needs to constantly provide serotonin hits to its subscribers. A 5 star or a high 4 star as a potential commit provides much more clicks and subscribers than a fully committed top player.

Yeah no point in getting excited about 2025. One thing history has shown across all schools. Players that commit a year before their senior season tend to decommit at a high rate.

Not sure about a survey but it happens every year with at least a handful of players seeing their rankings affected by their commitment status

My son would love to bring down y’all’s star rating for the ‘25 class…lol. Kickers are only 3 stars. Got a visit next week…should be interesting.

Will never understand the lack of priority on FG kickers.

Ask OSU how important a good one is.

Say we score 44 touchdowns and 27 field goals. That means the kicker is directly responsible for 32% of all points.

Well y’all have the #1 kicker in the country coming in, and next week y’all are bringing in the #1 ‘25 and #1 ‘26 (along with some other badasses) to compete for the next K scholarship.

Sounds like y’all are prioritizing kickers just fine.

I am thankful it hasn’t been a weakness of ours the last 10 years or so.

I am glad Kirby prioritizes kickers and punters. With 85 guys on scholarship and 3 deep at every position, it’s important and worth the spots on the roster.

Yep, he didn't learn that from little Nicky. Bama just recently got on the great kicker plan...

He probably learned it from Richt. UGA always had good kickers with him. I also loved UGA’s onside kick game under Richt. There were some stunning set ups when they decided to bring them out.

exactly. Two Natties and best assistant coaching staff in the country - plus you get to live in Athens, GA - best college town in the country.

As to the assistants, Kirby has a nice coaching tree under him that have all gotten good P5 jobs:

Dan Lanning - Oregon
Sam Pittman - Arkansas
Mel Tucker - Michigan State
Shane Beamer - S. Carolina

That’s a nice tree with only being a HC for 7 years.

Not trolling, but UGA has always been RBU in my opinion. But lately Bama has had more talent at that position. Time for UGA to regain control of RBU and show little Nicky another reason to retire before it's too late.

We may regain a bit of that ourselves next year as LA has 3 stud RBs in 2025, and we should get 2 of them...

Sure seems like it's gonna be 1. Uga and 2. Bama
