He is from South Georgia last time I checked...lol.
I don't see many S. Ga Tennessee posters. Seems to me that UGA posters might be the ones who know.
Just like we don't know little details about guys like Cade....I would expect Tennessee posters from his area to know more about him than I.

Alabama was still hard after JJ. He will qualify. Saban wouldn’t be after him with tight numbers in this class, if he was a major grade risk.

Yeah... I always assumed we didn't really recruit him for a combination of reasons... Had other guys we liked more, and for a long time it seemed he had Bama in his sights... Pruitt leaving of course changed that a bit...

I am not 100% certain why UGA didn’t pursue JJ that heavily. It could just be there were guys higher on the board. I have no idea on his academic situation at all. I like to see all Georgia kids do well, so I wish him good fortune except when he plays UGA.

Whats all this stuff about JJ possibly flipping to Alabama and Quay feeling good about UGA after his visit? Any Tennessee posters have a feel at this point? Did something really change, or is it all just a bunch of rumors and hype for signing day?

Rush Probst said Bama made a relentless push for JJ, made me nervous for a second. But both Tennessee and Bama insiders don't think there's any chance he flips. More likely manufactured drama (perhaps at the direction of Pruitt) for NSD.
I'm sure Quay enjoyed his visit, but we received another CB from a very accurate 247 mod last night. We're the favorite as of right now.
The real news is Jordan Young, he's likely flipped to FSU, which really hurts.

I still think Quay ends up at UT. Someone I trust very much seems to think that is it for him. But those rumors floating around this morning sound more like signing day drama for the recruit to me.
I think JJ is hardcore UT as well by the way he has acted lately.
Guess it'll be sealed either way come Wednesday.

The problem for UGA is they just don't have enough slots left and this probably is making them a little less agressive than they normally would be for someone like Quay who seems to want to be chased.
DAWGS have 20 signed already w/ two LOI's out there already for DTs Jordan Davis and Walthour. That only leaves 3 slots available - Tyson Campbell fills one of those three leaving two left for Rick Sandidge(4*DT), Quay Walker(4*OLB), Otis Reese(4*OLB/SS) and Tommy Bush(4*WR). Of course the Dawgs would love to have Quay Walker but Reese seems a little more "gettable" right now and Dawgs need more certainty.

I'm seeing possibility of grey shirting someone....Not saying it will happen, but there has been talk of it being a bigger possibility after the weekend.

Yeah, I've never seen anyone claim that Walthour had an LOI to sign (which would make sense given his qual risk).

Steve Wiltfong (Recruiting director for 247 Sports) says he is hearing really good things about Quay Walker and UGA right now.
