This is the way it is. Recruits commit to the coaches more often than they'll admit to. Don't understand why people are mad at Franklin. He invested time into recruiting those kids.

And I don't see anything wrong with it really if your goal is football.

Think about it. You're going to spend as much time with your coach as with anybody else for those 3-4 years of your life.

As stated many times already, it's terrible ethical behavior to be working against your current employer while working for a future employer. If all recruiting was done after 7pm last Friday and within NCAA recruiting rules, fine. That's life. The issue is that he appears to have been recruiting for PSU while still employed by Vanderbilt.

I know it's standard practice to take some recruits but this looks excessive to me. However, I don't have any knowledge of Penn State's recruits and if Franklin feels the need to replace as many as he can. Sorry Vandy, this sucks so close to signing day.

I just saw where he poached a 3rd commitment and his comments on the Dan Patrick show about them following him to PSU. Dude is a shite bag

Poaching recruits is a very common practice.

How many of you guys get visits from already-committed kids? How many of you guys boast when you flip one?

I'm not a Franklin fan, but this is non-news.
