Vol fans what's going on with him. Some of you, myself included, thought he was a Vol lock because of his parents but he just said that he needs to build a better relationship with their coaches. It looks like a 3 team race between Clemson, UT, and UGA.
I know it's an AJC article but at least it's an update.

He's also the number 1 player in the country. Just going to be an absolute stud. Georgia has never really felt good about him but hopefully Kirby can change that.

He'll be blowing up Butch's phone when the VOLS are playing in Atalanta this December.

He's a 2018 guy, Eason wouldn't scare him off, imo.
I just don't see him going anywhere in the SEC besides Tennessee tho, but anything can happen.

He's stated many times that he'll have competition anywhere he goes so I don't think he will.

Two things concern me.
1. Does our system hurt us here? It can't help. There is a reason Johnson flipped and Higgins isn't a vol atm.
2. How much does Butch value system over talent? I hope the answer is not at all.
Good for us this one is a couple of years out, so they have the opportunity to answer some questions. The passing attack has to improve this year. All I want is to run a few actual routes and try to create a mismatch every now and then. That much would show improvement.

We felt great about him before our recent QB commits. I thought we had no shot with him after that, but he was on campus for our junior day and apparently we're still well in it.
I would make the Vols the favorites right now, but who knows what happens by the time he commits if Tennessee continues to underperform on the field. The timing could work real well in our favor regardless of who we have on the roster.

Honestly, I think UGA and Bama are saying that if he wants to play in the NFL that he'll have to play in a pro style system.
