This is about the combination of the two or the 11 total line players.

TN needed a huge influx of interior talent and it looks like to me the combination MAY be the best this year.

Not positive though. Clemson's is solid but not as good after comparing. Any others?

That's pretty good, but not nearly as good as TN's combined haul IMO.

Obviously if we start talking multiple year classes at any position Bama will come out on top.

Our offensive line recruiting was really bad from 2011-2013. 2014-2015 were basically total retools.

Defensive line the last 2 years though......

OL recruiting though, more so than any other position, is generally hit or miss in terms of recruiting rankings. Only really really good OL talent evaluators hit on those guys consistently. The "bust" rate on guys ranked from 25-250 on the OL nationally has to be almost 50/50. Outside of sure fire left tackle guys (like Cam Robinson), I don't think the recruiting service guys, or a lot of programs, really have much of an idea. It is such a projection.

That is why guys if a guy like Bilema offers a kid I'd immediately throw him in the Top 250.

It's sad that TN can have back to back top 5 class but still not have surpassed Bama in talent for those two years.

The gap has certainly closed from what the two teams had on the field just 2 years ago but we are still a large gap behind in total talent.
