Can we talk about why recruits' parents love Charlie Weiss? Is it because he's fat?

Just when I thought " oh great, another Yeldon thread," you've kicked things up a notch. Well done.

Santa Claus syndrome.

You assume just because he's big, he's nice.

IIRC the same position coach ran off another recruit for the same reason. I think he walked on at Auburn?

Now that I look back, you're talking about Aubrey Phillips aren't you? Genius

I can't take all the credit, assumption is a very powerful creature.

Only lie I told was the HS coach being a family friend...

What I don't understand is, why are Auburn fans so interested in what I'm saying?

It looks as if you snagged a few Bama fans as well based on the I hate MG posts you have received from them.

Look, I am no big TJ yeldon fan I think he is a very good back but a 5 star back, maybe not. I think he ends up at bama. When your a high school assist coach comes out and says you are solid well, that is not good. Site reporting he reaffirmed his commit to Frank I don't buy. Plus, many bama insiders are in the camp that Yeldon has joined the tide. I agree. JMO

That first highlight on the KO return felt like I was watching a Duke BBall game.

Sorry for partying.

I have to step down from my all seeing perch for a few days, so I thought I'd have a little fun.

I won't get to see the any of the supposed "d-day" on Sunday, so I'll have to keep my a-hole clinched in excitement/anticipation until the wee hours of Monday morning...

first highlights I have seen of Yeldon. The kid has skills. Looks to be best at running off tackle rather than up the middle. Does not look to have the speed to stay on the edge.

Honestly, I think his style is a better fit at Auburn unless they try to go inside power game with him.

Rivals had an article on top performers at the AL-MS Game, and for fastest prospect, they said TJ was a close second. He's got wheels when he hits a crease

From the highlights I was guessing 4.5~4.6 speed. Very good for HS but not enough for staying on the edge in college. Same speed class as T-Rich, a little faster than Ingram. His running style looks to be that of a cut-back runner with feet close together but spreds them well and squats just before breaks in the open field. I said off tackle because he runs upright and not behind his pads.
