Like I said, they backed off because Tim wouldnt stay in touch. Up until that, LSU tried, and tried hard.

He goes to the same school as the coaches kids. Are you telling me that Tim avoided them in the halls or would duck out of practice early to avoid them? Or when he was coming to all of our home games he was just doing everything with the recruits but ignoring the coaches at the same time?

He is rated as the #3 recruit in LA for on both rivals and 247. I prefer to take the opinion of people who are paid to evaluate recruits over an anonymous internet poster.
As far as the whole LSU backing off of him thing, I have to agree that that is what it looked like. I don't think anyone really knows the reason although some speculate that it was because he wanted to go out-of-state (certainly possible) or grades prevented him from going to LSU (doubtful since Alabama and LSU have the same requirements).

He's not going anywhere with it he's still jilted and can't get over the fact LC chose BAMA. That's why he's in this thread letting us know Tim is overrated and LSU didn't want him.
