I'm here for details of the off the field issues as well. LSU fans can never say what they are just that they are there.

It's starting to look pretty good. He's by no means a lock but he is visiting this weekend.

damn, are bama fans still melting over LSU backing away from Williams?

Just waiting to hear what games he was suspended for and why he is such a character risk.

Doubtful anyone knows any specifics unless they went to school with Tim or coached him. Being that Miles and Krags sons played with him and he went to school on LSUs campus, I would say they got all the info they needed. However, they, nor his HS Coach, are going to bash a kid. But there were plenty of stories like this through out the season in the papers and local news:

Also notable was the fact that UHS’ top player, senior defensive end Tim Williams started the game on the bench, something Mahaffey said was a “team situation.”

"Team situation" is a good way to put it.

I cant believe we even took this kid with all those character issues.

I find it hard to believe you didnt keep tabs each week on this player that lives in Louisiana so Ill let you research the other snippets from different games this year that this was also claimed.
And if you dont see an issue with the teams best player being benched throughout the season for whatever issues, whether its one series, one quarter, or one game, then all I can say is enjoy. Now if LSU fans just started saying yesterday that we didnt want Tim, he had issues,etc... that's one story, but you can do a quick search on the LSU recruiting board and see numerous threads on this issue from a couple months back.

You guys picked up a good athlete. If he pans out great if not you have other talent that will step up. Like you claimed earlier, had you not lost Demarcus Walker, TW prob wouldnt have an offer still from you guys.

Im not sure about that. They play different positions. Walker is a DE and Williams will be a LB.

My bad, that was Capstones claim earlier.

Eh. LSU probably didn't want him.
We did, but he didn't want to be at LSU and has played just about every school he's visited like a fiddle. Head case, not the best player in LA but a solid player nontheless and someone who could see time at Jack LB for Bama

He may be right, Walker had been losing weight so he could play Jack, I just think that was a recruiting ploy.

LSU freshnem with more tackles than landon collins
Mills 52
Collins 28
Eugene 26
Those three are DBs just like collins
LB D Jones had 21
These total tackles don't include the post season. Regular season only.

Are we really going to go at it with LSU guys about players with character issues?
