But seriously, what do they have to grade on to drop any player at this time.

In Keenan's case, probably the 80 lbs of bad weight he needs to lose.

I imagine the fact his weight shot up to 380 pounds had something to do with it.

Got damn. He put on 80 pounds during Covid. That’s quite the achievement. I’m actually kinda impressed

Committed to Alabama.

Hope he goes on a diet.

The talent is there though. He won the Defensive Line MVP at the Atlanta Opening regional last year over McKinnley Jackson and Myles Murphy.

Congrats. He's young so it shouldn't be to hard for him to shed that weight if he eats right and works out.

Bama not even recruiting this guy FWIW.

This certainly didn't age well.

If he works hard he will be fine.

Brandon Ivory comes to mind in this case. Big DT from Memphis. Put on a lot of bad weight by the time he enrolled at Alabama in 2010. Was eventually down to 305. Was a pretty solid contributor later in his career. Hopefully Keenan can do the same.

He has some good people that he's training with right now and they're really impressed with him. Trainer played at UAB before he played in the NFL. Had commitable offers from schools that need a 0-technique type. Not going to be the highly ranked, high profile recruit, but he checks all the boxes on and off the field.

Good pickup. Give him some time.

If he had the self-disciplne to do those things he wouldn't have so much bad weight. Bama's staff will help him get and stay on the right diet and exercise regimine, tho.

That is what good coaching is for. Self-discipline sometimes has to be learned.

I don’t think he was taking a shot at Auburn when he said “I want to go where a championship is expected.”
