Best player ever from Louisiana, and Bama stole him.

I think he’s a good player and would kill it at somewhere like TCU. He’s not going to play over Jerry Juedy, Devonta Smith or Henry Ruggs at WR and he’s not going to play over Damien Harris, Najee Harris or Jacobs at RB. He’ll be good for them at PR.

Hometown kid, like him a lot. Just hope Saban isn't using him as an in to another local kid that is projected higher next year. Bolden is not only athletic but instinctive. Most of West Monroe's high end players do well at next level AND stay out of trouble.

Apparenlty no one at Gatorade caught a Hahnville game. Pooka Williams was by far the best player in LA this year, and before any gimps call my biassed- Pooka isn’t going to LSU.

Look at where our OC came from, New England, sure seems to fit the mold of a New England slot, plus he tore it up in Bama summer camp at slot, he earned his offer in camp.

The Panthers used a first round pick on a guy with worse measurables than a high school kid.

Over 1000 APY as a rookie. Leads his team in receptions, and is 3rd in rushing yards behing a Pro Bowl RB and the greatest dual threat QB in NFL history.

Sounds like a 1st round draft pick to me

Imagine the college player McCaffrey would have been if he had Bolden's strength and speed.

One of the fastest players on the field every single game. Consistently running away from DBs.

Top 5 among RBs in every speed and agility drill at the NFL combine. And not shocking to see him truck an NFL LB.

He may have even won the Heisman back in 2015

Right? Weird coincidence how Bama's only two Heisman winners won their trophies only due to the prejudice against white RBs who had better stats and were nore deserving because they were more valuable to their teams, and they coincidentally both went to Stanford. Crazy world we live in, huh?

La Gatorade Player of Year and would not even be the player of the year in Baton Rouge or New Orleans. Alot of media buzz going around about him winning and actually figuring out how he won

Yeah, New Orleans & Baton Rouge are both loaded with players who put up 3400 yds and 19 td's

Dude stop... Henry put up over 2200 yds rushing against better defenses than what McCaffery faced, all the while playing behind a very average offensive line. Amazing the lengths people still go to in order to discredit what dh accomplished. Bolden will find a niche at Bama if he's good enough. Saban doesn't care if he's white, black , red, orange , etc.

I can understand message boards not understanding the criteria, but for the media to not know is just pitiful. Makes me question their credentials honestly. There were 3 criteria for the award: Athletics, Academics, and Character. 3200 yards, 40 TDs, 4.0 GPA, #1 class rank, tons of community service, including the Special Olympics.

Not very well, some of the past winners include Ryan Perrilloux & Jordan Jefferson. Neither were known for their academic prowess and Perrilloux wasn't exactly an outstanding citizen even in high school.
