Kids who are committed do that all the time...it's called a wavering commitment. His dad is quoted as saying there is a reason he is still committed to Auburn.

UT fans also knew how mad it made Lawson when AU hired Garner before anyone.
UT fans know more about Lawson's recruitment that any other school, included AU fans. Lawson and his family doesn't like to talk to reporters or deal with all that comes with recruiting. I just showed you proof of him being right, at least 2 months before anything started to publically between Lawson and other school.
AU will probably get him anyway since Garner has said it wasn't his fault since UGA wouldn't let him offer. Garner has smoothed things over, but this one was really close. Congrats tho because you all will get an amazing player more than likely.

I've told you that the family doesn't want it known that Lawson has decommitted. He is a top 5 recruit in the country and nearly every school and reporter would start blowing his phone up constantly. If they still think he is committed, he can focus on the 3 schools he likes, AU, UT, and Clemson, and not worry about other schools.
Ga Tech isn't in it all, it was a courtesy visit because Lawson Sr used to play there and AU former dl coach is now there. Media thinks they are in it, but they aren't.

No one is denying he was looking around. No one denies he had interest in UT. Carl in all this time has not decomitted.
His father just said in an interview. There is a reason Carl has remained committed throughout this process. How does him saying that protect their privacy...

Well, Garner left UGA and UGA *still* didn't offer Lawson, so I would say that "UGA wouldn't let him offer" is a pretty accurate description of the situation.

Do you not understand recruiting? Every school in the nation would be blowing up Lawson's phone if they knew he was decommitted. Every recruiting writer and media person would constantly want interviews to find out where is leaning. If you are committed, most teams give up and focus on someone else. Lawson hated the recruitment process, he just wants it to be over and start playing for his school

He said UT would be heavily involved in it. If you read the thing you would see how he actually predicted Lawson to end up at UT or FSU in October when all said and done. Thats more than having an interest in a school.
