Janzen Jackson hurt a lot, but that kid seems less desireable than AIDS now.
Scoring the either/both of the Mannings would have been an epic win for us.

My answer would be DJ Howard.

I would say Clowney, but I don't think we were that close to getting him. Allen is another story.

I remember this guy now.
Had forgot all about him...

Why did Howard bother you two guys so much

Keenan Allen for sure. Although did Bama even recruit him at WR? I know he was a package deal to CAL because of his brother but I thought I remember reading somewhere he wanted to play WR.

He was committed to us, and he had some really good runs against us this year.

Easy.
Cyrus Koujadknolwisky
He would have started at RT then moved over to LT next year.
AJ Greene would have never stepped on the field.

Either it's a typo, or the coaches/recruiting analysts really messed up his measurables. There is a HUGE difference in 6'2 and 6'5... I'll say Cyrus Kouandjio, Tana Patrick, and Petey Smith. Tana and Petey (transferred out) haven't seen the field at Bama, and Cyrus is recovering from his ACL tear. All three would be starting at Auburn right now I'm willing to bet.

Those three would have made a HUGE difference on this years team and the last two probably haven't even dressed at Bama

right on, Petey alreadt transferred, Tana will get another chance this year, but he is just too small & add to that struggling with the playbook and he hasn't sniffed PT sadly

Yup, and I didn't even include John Atchinson, who was actually committed to Auburn at one time before Tubbs left... Corey Grant learned the hard way, and I would think that some of these guys are, too. Not because they made the wrong decision going to Bama, but because they would be playing, actually playing, for Auburn. Plus, they would all have a ring.

This one really hurt. He was committed to Bama but at the last minute went to Cal with his half brother and some other members of his high school team.
Keenan and his QB brother will be playing against Texass tonight in the Holiday Bowl.

can Cal push for the Pac 12 next year?

Did not know Alabama almost got this guy. Very glad they didn't. I think this guy will be a first round WR eventually.
