White better off to turn down the money and stay close to home.
Yep. That short term money may look good now, but they aren't putting any power backs in the NFL with the way they play.

I was saying the only reason for a back like White to go to Ole Miss is for the cash.
If he wants to play in the NFL with his skillset he is better off with LSU, Alabama, or Arkansas. They know how to use a power back like White.

Oh. Yes then I agree. I misread what you wrote. I thought you were saying we don't put any Rb in the nfl.

Why is that so unbelievable? We have 2 spots in this year's class and they were taken by 2 similar level prospects.
Yes that is recruiting. What it doesn't look like is that Whaley tried to commit at all. It looks like how it usually plays out. One prospect passed so another was given the option to commit. Why would he try to commit if they told him they were only going to take 1 more Rb and the other was already committed? If he wanted to commit why didn't he do it before Williams? And Whaley has been taking visits and big on other peoples radar during all this. Just doesn't add up. Where is this article? I want to read it.

White would be better off closer to home (at Arky or in state at LSU) than taking the OM golden handshake.
Not a joke just an observation.

True or not, the story is Whaley wanted in after Williams had already gave the word and decommitted from tcu. Before Williams was publically committed to A&M.

Listen, I understand if you don't believe it.
I was pretty skeptical Bert told Diesch to walk, but arky fans assured me that was the case.

I'm sure on TexAgs that story is gospel.
I do find it odd that Aggies were offering a 'first one in' to Williams and Whaley. They're completely different types of backs with different skill-sets.

Makes sense once you realize it never happened

Starting to look very much like Arkansas for Whaley.
I mean not, at all.
