Agree completely. The biggest issues that may haunt Texas unless they address very quickly via recruiting efforts is the lack of talent across the defense petty much as a whole & huge gaps in their O line. Yes they do have a handful of SEC talent but it is the minority. Aggies cleaned up with most their primary 2021 defensive and offensive lineman targets.
Sark whiffed on closing 2021 which he gets a free pass on. But he does look to be getting heavily out recruited by about most any other top 10 team and even several Texas based schools. Baylor and SMU...should never be in the conversation.
This AINT gonna cut it in SEC ball against the top 5-6 programs (not including OU...that's another story entirely too). Huge gaps that MUST be getting filled in this 2022 class if they hope to compete in the SEC next year or following year. Sark is gonna have to pull a small miracle and start trending up with these kids.
Texas made his job even more difficult with this complicated Big 12 vs SEC story to recruits. Pretty dumb move if u ask me.

Yeah, that narrative might change by November. Would not be surprised to see Texas in the SEC next year.

I'm interested to see how things go for Texas in the political arena these next few months. Supposedly they breached the GoR by talking with the SEC, and both they and OU are alleged to be sued as a result. Texas has some hurdles yet to clear before playing football in the SEC next year
Their lack of recruiting has definitely been an eye opener.

Was Sark a strong recruiter at USC?
His one and only full class at USC finished #2 in the 2015 composite rankings.
